Carol Hickey's Actors Showcase

Carol Hickey is a wonderful acting instructor and studio owner here in Austin (also a stellar actor). I attended an actors showcase she produced on Saturday night. There were some very good scenes, talented actors, and a good size audience of directors and agents.

I hope Carol plans to do more than one of these per year. It's a great way to see actors for more than the few limited minutes allowed in an audition. You get a much stronger sense of roles they would be right for, and the performances stick with you. I have to believe the actors enjoy having the opportunity to do scenes that show their range.
