Dream "Kick Starter"
Kat grew up watching movies at her grandfather's small town movie theater. It was there that she developed a fascination with stories told on a large screen. If there is one thing it taught her, it's how one single scene can profoundly change your life. That power was undeniable.
She joined her high school drama club, sang competitively, and performed regularly on a local television morning show by the time she was sixteen (16). She attended college on a voice scholarship, but later realized her love for drama far exceeded her interest in music. so she made a decision to focus solely on acting and began performing theatre in California, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas.
Eventually Kat moved to Los Angeles where she trained with Ivana Chubbuck at the Roy London Studio. She began performing in a variety of mediums including a recurring principal on a popular soap opera, film, commercials and theatre. One day a theatre director asked her to assist in a production. This was the start of her love of directing and coaching.
